Why can i receive notifications from messaging apps even when notification are turned on

Good day team.
I’m connected using my iPhone, I can only play music, take pictures and track my health and fitness progress.
I don’t get any message notifications (sms,WhatsApp, X, Facebook and the likes), even though it’s enabled on the app.
And why do I always have to re-download the face watch image, it makes it tiring.
Can I get an improvement on this lapses??
