Satisfied yet not.
I actually really love this app. I can express myself through the stories I write (but never publish) and I can also read and understand how other people see the world. Wattpad is like an area of creativity, a place where I can escape to. When everything seems wrong, this app makes me right. Though, the reason why I can’t rate this 5 stars is because of the offline story limit. I remember when we were allowed to download as many stories and now we can only have two?! And it also seems unfair that to have more offline limit or remove ads we have to pay money. Not everyone who uses this app has money to pay for such. I mean we even have to pay to read stories now!
I am a student, my country doesn’t even allow people younger than the age of 16 to participate in jobs, and my parents would never waste money on something as irrelevant as paying for a story or too download more.

The old wattpad was much better. Wattpad was supposed to be where you could come and read original novels for free. And I understand that some people would love to make money from their work and may not be able to get it published for whatever reason but don’t you think it’s kind of hypocritical that you have to pay for stories on an app where they say you can read original stories for free? It’s understandable when they have their book published and they choose to have their published version be paid for. Not everyone has the access to money to pay for books so easily. I’m a student. No matter how rich or poor I am, I have other things to pay for than a book that might not even be worth it at the end. And then what’s with the offline limit? That’s just dumb. There are people in countries who can’t easily access Wi-Fi or data to be reading online. And what’s with all the ads? Nowadays I can’t even go to the next chapter without having to always watch an ad. I had uninstalled wattpad before but then I reinstalled it and when I saw all these changes…..I just marveled at how you guys had finally monetized what was fun for people. I’m uninstalling this app and I just wanted to let you know my concerns but of course I won’t get a reply because that’s what you people do, you never listen to feedback like this. And if that’s the way it’s going to be, you have just lost another user. I bid you a good day.
