First of all, I must thank you for this great App and the constant innovations. However I must say the recent changes with the status and channel environment is not cool. Status used to be vertically lined but now it’s horizontal, and we can’t see every status except the first few recently updated. We must scroll all d way to see others. At least return the search button in the status environment just as we have in the chat environment, so that one can easily type the name of the contact’s status they would like to view into the search button, instead of having to scroll through everyone’s status because of one status that they one to view. Another problem is that in the past, when a contact posts more than one status, you can have an idea of what their last status is because you can see a preview without having to open their status, but now it’s no longer so. The only preview we see is their profile picture inside their status. If we want to preview their profile picture, we can simply go to the chat environment. Users are not suppose to be previewing profile picture when they are in status environment.
In summary, when you first introduced channels and status to be in the same environment, it was cool, but the recent update is not so cool. And please return the search button for status. Thank you, and God bless you META for all you’re doing.
