Description
112NL is the official app of the Dutch emergency services police, fire brigade, ambulance and Koninklijke Marechaussee. From now on you can also call 112 via 112NL in an emergency situation. If you call 112 with 112NL, you send extra data to the control room. This allows the emergency room to help you faster and better. For example, you can indicate in 112NL who you want to speak to (police, fire brigade or ambulance) and whether you cannot speak or hear properly. If the contact with you by telephone does not go well, the control room can start a chat conversation via 112NL. For example, if you have difficulty speaking or hearing, or if you do not speak Dutch or English well. In addition, your phone automatically shares your location with the control room.

This version follows your device's language setting for multiple languages. This version now also works with 097 numbers in addition to 06 numbers. We are aware of verification issues. This is being worked on.

Goed bedacht
Goed bedachte app! Zeer handig lijkt me, ook in gevallen waarbij je niet kunt praten. Wel lijkt het me handig om een Apple CarPlay app/Apple Watch app te maken, CarPlay voor gevallen onderweg en Apple Watch voor het geval dat je telefoon niet in de buurt is.

Locatiegegevens
Een zeer makkelijke app die je helpt bij een melding.
Ik stoor me wel aan het gebruik van mijn locatiegegevens. Ik heb dat ingesteld als ‘Alleen bij gebruik van de app’ maar zie dagelijks, zonder dat ik de app het geopend, dat de app ‘open staat en dus ongewenst mijn locatiegegevens gebruikt. Dit lijkt mij niet kloppen en zelfs strafbaar.
Waarom eerst bellen
Jammer dat je niet in 1x meteen kan chatten maar altijd eerst moet bellen. Zeker lastig in situaties waarin je niet vrijuit kan spreken.
