On my holidays in Singapour, I wanted to pursue my swim training for one day there as i was there for 2 days. First, I needed to download the app. As a foreigner, I needed to create an account at the reception on an ipad with to many details (and passport number, which is not relevant for going swimming). Then once the account was created with a password 12 characters&numbers. i had to log in the account on my phone which for some reasons did not work as my password did not work…. Then, I needed to buy a unique entrance. Adding my visa card detail (instead of apple pay) then go in my credit card app to approve the transaction. Then find the QR code somewhere in the app, activate the entrance use the code at entrance. It took me 15 minutes to set up for a unique user/guest for a single time at the swimming pool and the cost of 1$ (0,90€) which i could have payed with a coin at the reception and have this done in 30 seconds. A total waste of my time and energy, the time of the lady at the reception and I am not sure how the data is secured or deleted after not being used.

Can’t register with a foreign phone number. Even if I could, foreigners would pay more than locals. This is discrimination and should be reported. Never felt so unwelcome at a sports facility, where apparently the use of this useless app is required. Ridiculous.
