This is the official iPhone and iPad application of aprs.fi, the favourite APRS navigation site of the amateur radio world. Please read this application description fully - some features require an additional in-app purchase.

Navigate to addresses with clear step-by-step instructions. Obtain immediate, real-time access to current APRS position information, weather reports, telemetry graphs, and more. Zoom and browse around the world and see stations immediately – no waiting.

Some new features require a subscription. All old and some new features will be available without a subscription fee. These features are currently included in the Extra Features subscription package:

• High-performance software DSP modem
• APRS-IS beaconing, with up to 10 callsign profiles

• Long time ranges in map and graph views

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

GPS is not required for viewing APRS information.

• Custom notification sound for incoming messages.
• Updated aprs-deviceid database for local device identification for packets received from a TNC, including some new radios.
• Some internal enhancements which should not, in theory, have any visible side effects.

Werkt goed, aanrader!

Ik was wat huiverig i.v.m. de vorige recensies. Toch gekocht en geen spijt van! (Laatste recensie was alweer een jaar geleden) Erg accuraat en accu is bij mij niet snel leeg. Ik heb het idee dat het werkt zoals smart beaconing. Ook kan ik “-9” achter mijn roepletters zetten. (Of iets anders als je wil) Aanrader. 73, Martijn.

Werkt uit de kunst

Werkt heel goed en nauwkeurig mooi van opzet, alleen jammer dat er geen maidenhead locator er niet bij vermeld wordt.
En jammer dat ik sinds een paar dagen geen nummer meer achter mijn call meer dan invoeren waardoor er nu alleen nog maar staat PA3GUU en niet meer PA3GUU-9 of -5 of meer nummers
