Ava Fertility 4+

When I bought the AVA bracelet in August 2018, I thought it takes more than just some measurements to finally get pregnant. But believe it or not, 2 weeks later and I saw the temperature going up: pregnant!!

I was looking for something simple. I am not the type of keeping track on my cycle at all (before AVA). But since we were kind of trying about 2-3 years to just let it happen I decided to finally do something about it. I have heard of AVA even years before but because it is quite expensive and I wasn’t sure how and if this all works I never bought it. But checked every now and then, price stayed the same.

I never took the pill and I knew my cycle was just 25 days..but I had no clue when the time would be right. So I decided to give it a try and see what happens.

I had to get used to wearing the device every night, I am a lazy person. But making it a habit felt quite good. You do not really feel disturbed while sleeping, the rubber band is nicely soft. The measured pulse, skin temperature, sleep etc. was interesting to me, but I wished for even more analysis (like curves through the night..how was my sleep at 3am compared to 5.30am or so). It feels like it is an average of the measurements while sleeping.

AVA told me when it was a good time, maybe a less good time and when it was highly likely to get pregnant. So I went for it. 2 days later I saw my temperature going up each day continuously.. I was wondering but didn’t take it seriously. After one week I stayed on 35 degrees (skin temp.) and from then on straight. It made me very curious and I couldn’t wait to do a test, but still had to. (That is the bad part!) I already had the feeling it might be true, and so it was! I couldn’t trust my eyes and told literally EVERYONE about it!

I could even tell to the midwife when the first day of my last period has been, which I would have never been able if I hadn’t had AVA.

Now AVA keeps track on my pregnancy, gives insides of every week what’s happening with the baby, what my body is probably doing, what my thoughts might going to be and things I have to do, plan and think of. Very handy!

I am one month before delivery now and I feel so grateful and happy that my curiosity was stronger than my doubts!

It’s my first review on any product, but I am so convinced that AVA really gave me a hand in finally getting a baby!
