Suddenly changed to subscription model

Unexpectedly changed to a subscription model after having paid for the app. I understand you need to change your business model, but it shouldn't affect previous customers.

Hey,

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback about the recent switch to subscriptions.

It was a tough decision, with no easy answer. We didn’t want to leave existing users on an old version of #blockit that would very soon become dysfunctional, since the element blocking feature requires constant maintenance.

As such the decision was made to give existing users the longest free trial possible when switching to a subscription they could easily cancel. We thought this timeframe would far exceed the longevity of an un-updated #blockit 1.0

I hope it’s clear that looking after our existing users is super important to us.
