BloodCOMM is a highly intuitive, blood program management software application that allows users to wirelessly connect to existing APRU 6L Portable Medical Refrigerators and Delta ICE 2L Smart Blood Coolers. It is the next evolution in mobile blood management to ensure compliance with Blood Banks, Hospitals, and Agency Directors.
The app extends the functionality of existing APRU & ICE units in the following ways:
- Real-time Temperature Monitoring and Recording
- Close Range, Bluetooth Monitoring
- Remote, Cellular Monitoring (currently available for Delta ICE)
- Download, Export, and Email Reports (PDF or CSV)
- View Temperature History
- View Temperature Graphs
- View Exact Excursion Dates, Times, and Temperatures
- Record static snapshots of data for sharing or storage
- Assign Nicknames to Individual Units
- Wirelessly monitor and receive notifications for approaching excursions, low battery, and active excursions.

The Delta Temperature Monitor app has been upgraded to BloodCOMM. This upgrade is automatic and all existing data will carry over. The app will initially start in Bluetooth-Only mode with the option to Log In to an existing BloodCOMM account or create a new BloodCOMM account.
BloodCOMM includes all of the existing features of the Delta Temperature Monitor, with the added ability to connect to cloud-enabled devices anywhere in the world.
