BluOS Controller 4+

Ik gebruik de bluesound op de NAD C368 met Bluesound-module. Met update veel stabieler, waarbij het plotseling-volume-probleem opgelost lijkt. Eén punt van kritiek: op de iPhone bij het ‘nummer-scherm’ valt het onderste gedeelte weg, waardoor ik uit dat scherm moet om bv volume te bedienen.

IEDERE dag verdwijnt de speler uit de app en moet de volledige installatie opnieuw worden uitgevoerd: het is daarmee onmogelijk om een splinternieuwe geluidsinstallatie van >€3000 te gebruiken.

Bijzonder wel dat de module en verbinding het wél lijken te doen: via de spotify app is er gewoon verbinding te maken, het is puur de bluesound app die “vergeet” welke verbinding er is. Pas na het afkoppelen van stroom en het opnieuw installeren van de app kan de radio aan.

I am surprised by the low overall rating for this app. In many reviews I notice that people refer to problems like ‘the app is slow’ or ‘the app does not respond’ and also ‘the player is not visible in the app’. This however has nothing to do with the software, rather than the strength of your wifi at home. Please check under ‘help/diagnostic information’ the quality of your home wifi signal. If it the signal the player receives is in the range yellow-red, you probably will encounter issues as described.

I have used the app for about two years and am overall satisfied, although one of my suggestions to improve the app was not taken aboard by Bluesound. Once in a while I use Spotify and don’t find it better. As in all software programs there are bugs that you might encounter, but if you write a message to Bluesound support you will always get help is my experience.

One point of criticism is the support documentation on the Bluesound website. It took me quite some time to get to know the ins and outs my Vault player as I needed to read quite a lot of articles, given the fact that there is no elaborate user manual per device available.
