Does what it should do

Probably picked it up while it was free? Not sure if I would pay for it but definetly does what it should do.

Filter support ,

I like it

It is a very good program, but I am missing support for svg filters. Strange that they will work when importing files with filters...

Reactie van ontwikkelaar ,

Since the app uses the same rendering engine as Chrome, it should render most filters just fine. I'm planning to make them editable with the "Compositing" panel and on-canvas controls later this year.

Absolute pain

My experience with path editing was absurdly primieval and painful for an SVG program.
Selecting a point can be excruciating, when it often selects a completely different object. I could not figure out for the life of me how to add more points to a path. Icons are rarely a good fit with the feature/menu they unlock.

I don't have a vector editing background, but performed many similar tasks in Blender which offers features like proportional editing and feels like an absolute breeze compared to this.

Reactie van ontwikkelaar ,

Could you please clarify what is specifically wrong with it? When it comes to path editing Boxy SVG follows the UI patterns from Inkscape, so someone who is used to e.g. Adobe products might find it non-intuitive (even though most tasks can be achieved with fewer clicks).
