Amazing app, but still pretty basic

I use Brili daily to start up my day, and regularly for other things as well. The routines are a great way to ensure I don’t waste my day with a slow start and ensure I’m on time when there’s somewhere I need to be. Brili can adjust the time I have for each task based on the time I have left. If I oversleep I’ll have less time per step, but if I finish tasks quickly then the time I have for other tasks increases again. I haven’t found an app that is even close to as effective as Brili, nor any that do anything remotely similar.

So why not 5 stars? There’s a problematic lack of information (a tutorial and the app description. There’s no information on, for example, sharing routines and your subscription between devices) and the app itself is pretty basic (but still in development, so that could well be fixed over time).

There’s a few annoying features. You can only turn notifications on or off. Turning them on means you’ll be spammed with them until they lose all meaning. Minimum times are useful to ensure Brili doesn’t shorten important tasks too much, but if you happen to be done earlier (or just forgot to swipe away a previous task), you’ll need to wait out the minimum time or skip the task.

There’s also some features that aren’t that annoying but could be better. No clear distinction is made between completed routines and skipped routines, and routine management is a bit lacking. You can’t sort or filter routines, small variations (like leaving half an hour later) require you to duplicate the routine, and you can only plan routines to specific days of the week. It’s perfectly fine for people with very regular schedules, but can be annoying for people with irregular shifts.
