I am over a year in Dubai and have only used Careem knowing that there are competitors also delivering food at least as good. However I was happy and captains always found our home. Tonight we ordered but suddenly the captain was not able found our home.
My family waited and waited and we got various call from the captain, Careem, etc… in the end I understand that the captain’s Motorcycle broke down. However they lead us believe they could not find our home. Talked to the lady from Careem that as we were waiting over an over I wanted to stop the delivery as the delivery on our way was clearly called and a new one would take half an hour. However, although not our fault no refund possible if I would cancel. After some discussion I asked for the manager and after a while spoke with him. Als he was not able to help me (although was small order). I made clear that I would not pay for this order and he would charge me I would never order via Careem again (again after a year of many orders and being a happy customer). But no he could do nothing. So I will asked my family and friends to delete the Careem app an go with Talibat, Noon or others who have a better sense how to treat loyal customers. Careem is not on a path to success with this kind of customer service…

Very bad staff and app .. When you cancel the order they will not refund your paid amount.. I ordered a meal from a restaurant and pressed payment by mistake and immediately called the restaurant and cancelled the order before they started it and then cancelled it from the Careem app immediately .. and I asked for the money back to my wallet, but they never cooperated and didn't even check with the restaurant I cancelled the order from .. I prefer to deal with the Talabat application, even though its prices are much lower. I do not advise anyone to deal with the Careem application.
