You can scan any barcode or EAN number of products to get more information about the ingredients. This enables you to shop for your personal health and diet requirements, whether you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten or lactose-free and more! CodeCheck isn’t just a way to check products - it’s your way to receive the information you need to lead a sustainable lifestyle, keep on top of health and dietary requirements in food, drinks and beauty products and keep up to date on relevant topics with interesting articles in our news feed.

SCAN AND CHECK
• Download the app and create a profile with your health, dietary requirements or sustainability interests.
• Immediately start scanning barcodes to check any item while shopping to see if an item is vegan, vegetarian, lactose-free, gluten-free and set up an alert on your profile. In the free version, you can scan up to five products per week.
• Use our barcode scanner to see whether a product contains: palm oil, microbeads, nanoparticles, parabens, paraffin, too much sugar and more!
• CodeCheck will show you a rating of the product with more information on each ingredient based on your individual needs.
• Easy, at a glance product information to help you find products suitable to your lifestyle.

PROFILE
• Customise your profile with as much detail as possible so the products recommended to you are totally suitable for your diet and sustainability needs.
• CodeCheck will show you if a product is suitable for you based on your profile settings and will give you a personal rating circle to show its suitability.
• Let us know if you’re vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free or concerned about palm oil or microbeads.
• Once your profile is complete you can receive information specific to you and warnings for ingredients or possible additives like gluten or whether a product is vegan-friendly.
