This is because DuckDuckGo private search advertising is in partnership with Microsoft. As part of that partnership, viewing ads on DuckDuckGo is anonymous and Microsoft has committed to not profile our users’ ad clicks.

Accross all browsers and devices
As our 'big brothers' gather more than enough information about us I decided to install DuckDuck on my Mac (3 browsers) and iPad and iPhone. So at least I make it a little harder to follow me.
Switch to rating system everyone understands
A , B , C, etc. ratings don't mean much to someone from, let's say, the Netherlands. I bet the same applies to most people internationally. Maybe it would be a good idea to switch to a rating system more people can relate to.
Great extension for privacy
Very happy with it, since the privacy protection in Safari is quite basic. Works great!
