Nice privacy browser
With an important advantage in comparison with firefox focus privacy browser : Tabs!
Less choices in blocking content in comparison wit Ffc : don’t see a visual difference, both do not block all kind of ads
Ffc is blocking far more trackers (in max block modus) then Ddg. Over 30 on a certain shiny uk newspaper where Ddg blocks about half. Just pick any colorful fatprint newspaper and compare yourself.
Extra Ddg function for cleaning history when not force closing browser (who does that nowadays?) : 5, 15, 30, 60 minutes when not using it : clean.
Use of one proven search engine : ahrrrrwmmm, yes that one.
Ddg ssl check Httpsecure lock symbol) advantage ! How do you know you are really visiting the one and only bankwebsite of your bank in Ffc? : you don’t know because you cannot check rightaway. Ddg gives you the oneclick option to look at the ownership of the lockcertificate : aha, this website is from my bank. Extremely important advantage of Ddg.
Article printing. Ffc has a easy funtion to print pages to file (although its cost you some clicks to save on an ipad). Ddg only has this function to save to books.app. Very unconfortable because you have to use 2 programs + icloud to finally get the file on your ipad. Real privacy means to possibility to save a print file directly on the tablet without having to use a certain 3rd party storage solution. Please make a direct print to file save on tablet directly function.
Browser fingerprinting differences ffc and ddg ? They both block a lot but they (commercial industry) still reveal your ip address, an easy way to profile your family interests. Main difference in advantage of ffc is the more generic useragent string : telling websites ‘hi i am a firefox mobile browser’ which probably has a far bigger marketshare at this momemt so you are a bit more anonymous (less exclusive). At his moment the duckduckgo browser is not that common (its a new kid on the block) and thefore more exclusive and therefor more vulnarable for fingerprinting analytics by companies. Using a fake or generic browserid (useragentstring) could solve this. But then ddg will not show up in browserstatistics as such; but we can tell our friends it does exist and does a good job right?

Immediatly deleted after their #standwithUkraine message on twitter…that’s a no go for me..absolutely against war, so I do not comply with apps/browsers that pick a side..do nog interfere with politics🤬🤬
