Ratings and Reviews
Works nice overall, but...
This keyboard works pretty well and looks almost like the default iOS keyboard.
However, there are a few issues:
- The €-sign is missing
- No access to special characters (like ñ, ß, ö etc) via a 'long' press on a key
- The characters on the keyboard don’t change to upper and lower case when changing the shift-key
basics are there, not entirely smooth
There are still a few flaws which need to be resolved.
Eventhough the backspace button does work now by holding it down, it still lacks the funtionality of Apple’s quick delete of words after a long press.
The problem of quickly switching between letters and numbers by by keeping the "123" button pressed down is still not resolved.
Furthermore, whenever I try to correct a sentence somewhere in the middle, the swift key will needlessly be activated.
This is especially annoying since the letters don’t change to capital letters when it is activated.
Capslock optionality by double pressing is non-existent
No special lettering available when longpressing letters.
It’s getting there, but all in all I would still call this a work in progress.
As for the 2 stars: I feel it is still lacking enough usability for it to be receive a higher rating.
