eduVPN is a VPN service provided for the international research and education community by GÉANT. It aims to offer both secure access to campus networks as well as the ability to be safer when using the Internet when eduroam is not available and you are relying on insecure WiFi networks to connect.

SImple VPN tool

Easy to use VPN client. Good to see that it gets little improvements now and then.

An improvement that will benefit all OSX users:
* Can we get (an option for) a monochrome icon in the menu bar please for OSX?

This is for more advanced users and usecases:
* Can we please get the option to control what traffic is routed through the VPN (e.g. by specifying the networks to be routed through the VPN and to be excluded from VPN)
* Can we please get an option whereby VPN does not modify my DNS server configuration?

Great idea, well implemented

eduVPN is an awesome tool for the R&E Community!

Doesn't work with older systems

Too bad you need MacOS 10.15. You can't connect to your instituions network anymore with older Macs.

The connection doesn't close itself on your Mac if you leave it open after a time out. So if you forget to close the connection and put your Mac to sleep overnight, the next morning you seem te have no internet, because the VPN is still strying to make a connection that has been disconnected from the server. Unlike the old VPN where you set the VPN settings in the Mac systemsettings. If the connection was lost, the VPN was stopped.
