An epic game of real-time tactics which combines turn-based empire building with massive 3D real-time battles on land and at sea. Charged with the fortunes of a nation, you must use diplomacy, trade and military force to establish it as the dominant power of the 18th Century.

Decide the strategy behind the development and expansion of your empire. Expand your borders through conquest or diplomatic cunning. Conquer overseas territories to establish colonies and profitable trade networks. Take command of the battlefield and patrol the open seas to defeat your enemies and shape the contours of history.

Great Game

Een hele goede game! heb hem onder wine gespeeld veel op men iMac 2010, maar die was soms nog een beetje buggie, en de tempratuur kon soms behoorlijk oplopen.
Maar deze is goed over gezet moet ik zeggen!! speelt lekker soepel, en geeft alles ook goed weer!

Een Top game!! Als je van strategie houdt, is dit toch wel super, nu hopen dat Shogun2 ook nog komt en Napolion ook :D dan is ik toch helemaal BLIJ!

Playable game but not stable and infrequent fixes

It’s nice when these Total War games are recompiled for OSX but there is not much support afterwards. This game was never stable and often starts crashing once you are deeply into a campaign. I have it now for about 3 years and the stability problems have gotten worse with each new version of OSX.

At least this one has not disappeared from the store after I bought it as was the case with Rome Toal War. You may want to consider the fact it can be taken away from you at any time before buying in the apple store. Steam is likely a better option.

great game

it is a good game no bugs found yet it runs perfect on the imac of 2011 further cant wait for multiplayer update

good job this is the first game on the app store that doesnt suck :D
