Easy to use high fares
Great app very straight forward, makes trading accessible for everyone. Does charge high fares. Which is a big downside to the app. Conversion rates are unfavourable including the high fees they charge.

Crypto
The way eToro handled the situation with the DNB and therefore their users with regards to cutting off the possibility of using the crypto wallet and a week later suspending the crypto activities for the Dutch users forcing them to close the crypto positions is far from what I call good service / intentions. I started out as a rather happy user but as these things happened I got more and more annoyed. Does a review like this help? Probably not cuz nothing will change anyways. But still. Do your research before using eToro.

It’s unfortunate to read this review of us although it’s quite an old one. We hope you have since then changed your mind about us and the way we operate.
We had to call off our crypto services in the Netherlands at the time in order to continue with the process of acquiring an authorized license with the DNB.
If you haven’t heard by now (we hope you long have), we were successful in the application and we resumed our crypto services in the Netherlands several months ago.

Scam app - do not use
E-toro was ordered to register in my country as a crypto provider and neglected to do so, they deliberately closed external wallet to prevent crypto transfer and notified users at the last possible second to seize their assets during crypto peak. They scammed their users and will likely do it again in the future. Learn from our mistakes
