App keeps resetting

When I was installing my new mx-2 pedals the app was constantly exiting from the installation process by itself and returning to the start screen. I finally succeeded after many attempts were cut short. Now when I try connecting to the installed pedals it will often fail and return to the home screen. Only after repeated attempts does it succeed in establishing a stable connection with the pedals and am I able to review and change settings.
