Developed under Forward Future, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, FoodNex aims to reduce food waste through a modern donation management system connecting donors to food pantries.

Join our movement to end hunger and reduce food waste and insecurity. Currently, over 40% of the U.S food supply is wasted. FoodNex helps connect individuals and organizations such as businesses, restaurants, grocery stores, and schools with excess food to hunger assistance programs.

Features
• FoodNex gives users the ability to choose from a variety of registered food banks and food pantries to donate to.
• Users send custom donation requests to food banks and food pantries to ensure that they can receive the donation items.
• Users can create as many requests as they want anytime and send to as many food banks and food pantries as they would like.
• Food banks and food pantries will be sent the contact information of each donator’s donation request in order to schedule drop-off/pick-up delivery times.
• Registered food banks and food pantries create their own custom listing for users to view. This includes images, descriptions, donation specifications, and more.
• Registered food banks and food pantries can view and manage donation requests as well as analytics specific to their organization.
