Description
FoodSciffer makes it easy to know what you are eating.
Trying to read and decrypt labels on food in the supermarket? Going out to diner with an allergy? Rather not eat too much sugar or salt? FoodSciffer provides a fast and clear answer to all these questions in one simple scan.
Allergy, intolerance, diet, a preference or just less calories? In FoodSciffer you can create a profile for you and your family. When scanning a product you can see instantly the match and you know if the product fits your needs or desires. The profile can contain allergens, intolerances, diets, preferences and aversions.
The product info also shows the number of calories, ingredients, quality marks and preparation info. This makes it easy to know what you are eating and simpler to read how to prepare.
At the moment the app contains mainly products which are generally available in the Netherlands with Dutch product information. We will however add more countries and more languages shortly.

Handig
Handige app, niet alleen voor allergie, maar ook om zout en suiker in de gaten te houden.
Kan er weinig mee
Producten van grote supermarkten als AH, Lidl en Aldi zijn te vaak niet te vinden. Gemiste kans!

Tsja, helaas werken deze supermarkten nog niet mee en publiceren ze (nog) geen informatie over de producten aan ons. Binnenkort hopen we het gehele assortiment van een aantal supermarkt ketens op te mogen nemen.
Goed idee, bijzonder slecht uitgewerkt
Het idee achter deze app is super, helaas is het zeer slecht ontwikkeld. Na het scannen van een product klapt de app er na 2 seconden uit, waardoor herhaadelijk gebruik nagenoeg onmogelijk is. Het design is ook niet erg intuitief. Gemiste kans!
