Forge of Empires is based on our successful browser strategy game which was published by InnoGames in the summer of 2012.
It was awarded Best Browser Game 2013 by the jury at Deutscher Computerspielpreis (German Computer Game Award).
Finally, the online strategy game is available for iOS as well, providing cross-platform access.
Forge of Empires is free to download and install. However, some game features can also be purchased for real money. If you don't want to use this feature, please disable inapp purchases in your device's settings. A network connection is also required.

Eerste recensie
Ik speek FOE nu twee maanden en het bevalt me zeer goed. Het is een stuk leuker dan de spellen apps die ik hiervoor speelde. Nu ben ik toch wel een gamer die houd van strategie gerelateerde games dus daarom niet zo gek dat dit spel me goed bevalt.
Het leuke aan het spel is dat je continu wordt uitgedaagd. De ene keer word van je verwacht dat je missies uitvoert terwijl je ook moet bezighouden met het verzamelen van goederen. Daarbij kun je vrienden ondersteunen en hun taverne bezoeken. Daarnaast zijn er nog tal van andere activiteiten die je kan uitvoeren naarmate het spel vordert.
Ik moet er bij zeggen dat ik het spel speel zonder kosten te maken en daarom merk ik nu soms wel dat bepaalde gebouwen of bepaalde opties voor mij niet beschikbaar zijn omdat die met diamanten gekocht dienen te worden. Die diamanten kun je echter alleen maar verkrijgen door een betaling te doen aan de app. Door betalingen te doen geschieden bepaalde opties is het spel sneller. Ondanks dat ik bepaalde dingen niet kan weerhoud het mij niet om de app te blijven spelen, ik moet alleen soms wat meer geduld hebben.
Kortom een leuke toevoeging als je iets meer zoekt in een game dan de standaard soorten zoals tetris of patience, maar bepaal voor jezelf of je de game gratis, zoals ik, of wil spelen door af en toe iets te betalen met je googleplay of appstore account.

Zeer onderhoudend en bindend spel waarin het blijvend aantrekkelijk is een volgende fase te bereiken. Ook met als uitgangspunt niets te kopen of te veroveren.
