There are countless ways to brew coffee. For coffee enthusiasts, sometimes these methods can get... complicated. And following a more complex recipe can be difficult, especially in the morning when you haven't had your coffee yet.
Part calculator, part timer, FourSix is designed to take a complicated method for pour over and make it simple and easy, even if you're still not completely awake. Named after the 4:6 method invented by Tetsu Kasuya, FourSix will create a custom pulse pour recipe based on 3 simple questions - Do you like your coffee sweeter or brighter? How do much do you want to extract your beans? And what size? Instantly, you'll see how each pulse-pour will break down, and how they affect your final cup. When you're ready to start, simply follow along with the Timer telling you exactly how much to pour and when. Not only will you get a great cup of coffee, but you'll be able to do it again the next morning.
To use FourSix, you'll need a Hario V60 and a scale that measures in grams. Additional helpful tools include a pouring kettle with a narrow spout and a thermometer to test water temperature.

Definitely worth it
The new version adds a bunch of functionality like a ‘diary’ where you can take notes on specific coffees. Makes adjusting the recipe very easy.
Just a nice app to have if you want to brew single cups of coffee using the 4/6 method, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Good quality app. Well designed
This is my first review ever on AppStore! I like the interface and simplicity of this app.
Hope we are getting some more functionality. Like brew history or logging settings from you grinder. So, that you can look back in your history and make the right settings. This would be a nice addition.
Version 2 is here! What an improvement. All my previous tips are incorporated in to this version. Must have for the v60 enthusiasts!
