Grim Tides tries to blend tabletop RPG vibes, familiar dungeon crawling and roguelike mechanics, and a classic turn-based combat system into an accessible and entertaining package. Because of its attention to written storytelling, detailed worldbuilding and abundance of lore, Grim Tides can be similar to a solo Dungeons and Dragons campaign, or even a choose your own adventure book.

Grim Tides is a single player game and can be played offline. It has no lootboxes, energy bars, overpriced cosmetics, content locked behind endless microtransactions, or other modern monetization schemes. Just a one-time purchase for the full game, and completely optional goodies for those who wish to support the game and its development.

Absolute blast of a game!

If you like dungeon crawlers, then this is THE game to buy! Love the fact that you can make different builds, melee, magical or a crossover is possible. Lovely storytelling and quests. You can choose what to do, arena or dungeons. Also the ability to recruit a crew and ship is cool! Best game I played on the app store. Hands down.

Nice with lot of potential

Very nice game with lot of potential. Easy to learn but hard and complex enough to keep it playable for a long time. I love the simplicity but the used graphics make it enjoyable to keep playing. There may be more balance however in the algorithm used. Eg. The chance of failure even when the luck-chance is 80% is too high. That is statistically not credible. But all in all very good game.
