Long time favorit
Use this app since May 2016 (Galileo). Still my favorit app when cycling and following a gpx track.
Nice feature is the sync option. When on tour I often plan the trip a day ahead on my iPad. Marking the coffee and lunch stops on my iPad. The automatic syncing shows them on my iPhone without further action.
Since the M1 Macbook Pro you can download the iPad app on your Macbook and it will run pretty amazing.
One thing I would like is a larger color palette for the gpx tracks. For cycling under sunny conditions the track could have some neon colors for better contrast.

version 4.7.2 (i have the pro-version) shows you from every spot on earth the height above see-level ... so now you can see the level of a spot where you are not at that time ! this is perfect !
no other maps show this information, or only through unreadable contourlines (like in google maps) ...
App is niet gratis!
Teleurgesteld na downloaden van de App. Uw introductie dat de App gratis is, vind ik onjuist. Na downloaden van 3 provincies in Nederland is er niets meer gratis te downloaden. Je krijgt daarna een venster om de Pro-versie te kopen. Via een vriend kreeg ik een goed gevoel, omdat uw App voor € 5,00 aan te kopen zou zijn. Dus niet (meer??).
Het zou beter zijn dat u direct aangeeft hoeveel de App werkelijk kost! En daar achter te schrijven dat de App met bijvoorbeeld maximaal drie te downloaden kaarten voor een proefperiode vrij is te gebruiken. Nu staan er wel bedragen voor bepaalde aankopen, maar die vertrouw ik niet omdat het onduidelijk blijft wat mijn totale kosten zullen worden.
Apps die voordoen dat ze op een apparaat gratis zijn te gebruiken, maar onduidelijke in-App betalingen vragen, verwijder ik. Vooral wanneer je na download bemerkt dat de App als gratis versie nauwelijks acceptabel nut voor je heeft. Tot mijn spijt moet ik die manier van handelen als misleidend aanmerken!
Uiteraard ben ik bereid voor een App te betalen, maar dan verwacht ik meer verantwoording over het te betalen bedrag. Dus duidelijkheid waarom het voorgestelde bedrag zou moeten worden betaald. Vooral omdat de door u verstrekte informatie in de App van niet door u betaalde satellieten komt.

Bedankt voor je feedback! Daarom hebben we conclusies getrokken en een regel toegevoegd aan de app-beschrijving voor toekomstige versies:
"Zonder abonnement is het nu mogelijk om tot 15 bladwijzers aan te maken, tot 15 tracks op te nemen en slechts 3 vectorkaarten op uw apparaat te downloaden."
