Maneuvering your ship in close quarters can be a challenge and must be trained well. Hafenskipper simulates harbor maneuvers under power and can help you to get a good understanding of the ship dynamics.

Hafenskipper is a fantastic app
When I bought a new boat, I wanted to train myself in (un)docking before doing it real. This app is so close to real docking that I am now able to prepare for docking with 25 knots of wind from all directions and feeling comfortable when I do the same on my boat.
