A nerdy update: If you like to use terminal, Hamaki now has a CLI. Great for scripting and automation. And you can connect it to AI tools that support MCP: Everything stays on your Mac.

Minor bugfixes

In this version of Hamaki: Today Widget Hamaki now lives in your Notification Centre. Add the Today widget to see your day at a glance, how many appointments are booked, who's coming up next, and which slots are still free. Available in small, medium, and large. Open visitor notes faster Ask Claude to open a visitor's note before their session and it opens straight away in Obsidian, Bear, NotePlan, or Apple Notes — no clicking required. And ... we resolved some syncing issues.

Open Notes Straight from a Visitor's Profile Every visitor now has an "Open note" button that jumps directly to their note in Obsidian, Bear, NotePlan, or Apple Notes. If the note doesn't exist yet, Hamaki creates it. Set it up once per calendar in Calendar Settings > Note Taking. You can also override the note path per visitor for those who go by a nickname or have an unusual file name. A Better Spot Detail View: The appointment detail screen has been redesigned around the visitor, not the slot: - Visitor name as the headline, with a one-tap shortcut to their full profile - Pulse summary loads inline, how often they visit and when you last saw them - Actions are grouped by weight: neutral actions up top, destructive ones clearly separated below Jump to Any Visitor, From Anywhere Right-click a visitor name anywhere in Hamaki, the overview, the waiting list, a spot detail, to jump straight to their profile or copy their email.

Find Any Visitor in Spotlight You can now type a visitor's name directly in Spotlight (⌘Space) and jump straight to their profile in Hamaki. No need to open the app first and search manually. - Type "Tjerk" in Spotlight → see his upcoming appointment → click → Hamaki opens on his profile - Or say "Open Tjerk in Hamaki" / "Show Tialda in Hamaki" to open their profile via Siri or Shortcuts Visitor Profiles: Each visitor now has a dedicated profile page showing their full history with you: - All upcoming appointments - Complete past appointment history - Pulse data, how often they visit and when you last saw them

Standalone calendars: create a booking calendar directly in Hamaki without connecting Calendar.app. No calendar permissions needed. Move appointments: reschedule a booked spot to a new date and time directly from the app. Visitors can be notified by email automatically. Local MCP server: connect Claude or other AI assistants to Hamaki and query your schedule locally. Bug fixes and stability improvements. (and you can find out where the confetti is made)

The calendar is now more powerful, flexible, and central to how you manage your availability in Hamaki. Introducing a new calendar component for subscribers that allows you to visually draw and place new spots wherever you choose Introducing waiting lists, so visitors can sign up when your calendar is full and you can manage them directly from the app

It now is easier to create, view and cancel spots from the new daily view. And you will get better information about new visitors.

You can now add spots from the hamaki interface, cancel appointments, plan appointments. And view the details of appointments.
