My new default news app
- The mobile app itself is quite polished and easy to use.
- The recommendation system does a great job with finding the relevant news, and understanding what you are interested in.
- The app groups similar topics, and you can see related articles in the same page (full coverage)
Suggestions:
- On the home page, I’d rather to see the news grouped by the topic I created. Currently, I need to go to the profile tab first and open each topic.
- The in app browser can be improved. In the meantime, having an option to open the web page outside of the app can help.
- The home page is somewhat overwhelming in terms of the content you can see. Maybe summarising the similar topics and not showing so many news could help.
