The pioneering system in Portugal offers drivers the fastest and easiest solution to pay for parking using their cell phone or tablet, without the need to use coins or go to the parking meter.
With the 'Start and Stop' feature, the driver can start and stop the parking period at any time, and only pays for the time the vehicle has actually been parked.
The application also offers a pay-per-time mode, in which the driver specifically indicates how long he/she wants to park, and will be alerted each time the parking period is nearing its end, so that he/she can then extend the parking period.

Useless for tourists
You have to manually transfer money to their account and then send screenshots. Then you get all kinds of automatically generated messages in Portugese with unclear instruction. And now option to get you money back.
Not for international tourists
This app could make the life of the tourists a breeze but it is full of flaws. The stickers on the parking meters say you can pay MBWAY, Multibanco or VISA. Unfortunately in practice, as a foreign tourist, you can only use bank transfer and there’s no instructions on how to get your unused balance back, after your holidays. Why can’t we just link our credit card to the app and authorise it to be charged, just like in Uber and so on? Much easier! Also MBWAY is now open to international numbers, but the app doesn’t let you sent the payment request to other than Portuguese numbers. So get your coins ready because you’ll need loads of them. A shame!
Porquê entidades diferentes com saldo
Eu usei este app em várias cidades em Portugal continental e na Madeira. Agora tenho saldo positivo em todas as cidades onde usei, mas se quiser estacionar o carro tenho de carregar saldo de novo…
porque não é possível transferir o saldo entre as entidades ou então pagar só o que foi usado!?
