Description
Linphone is an open source app offering free audio/video calls and text messaging. With Linphone, you can be reachable at any time, even if the app is closed, with a WiFi or 3G/4G internet connection.

Warning:
* Since IOS10, SIP connections in background are no longer allowed. Therefore, only Linphone accounts (sip.linphone.org accounts) can receive calls when the app is closed, thanks to push notifications integrated within our server.
* Group chat features only available for Linphone accounts (sip.linphone.org accounts).

Ratings and Reviews
Works only when openend
As written in the description, since iOS 10 not able to run in the background and receive calls, a pitty because the design and the setup of the app is good!
But can only be used for outgoing calls.
Receiving of calls should always work with Linphone VoIP accounts, thanks to their push service, but I haven't been able to test that

Ben een Apple gebruiker en krijg jammer genoeg geen verbinding meer sinds de laatste update de IOS 9.3.2. Al mijn kennissen hebben met dit probleem te maken en kunnen geen sip verbinding tot stand brengen. Wanneer is er een update van LINPHONE zodat dit probleem verholpen is?
No sound
After the update 2.0.3 I lost sound. I am able to place calls, but can not hear it ringin/ going over nor can I hear the other party. Ipad 2, WiFi, 32 Gb.
