Midi Studio is a modular MIDI control surface for iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad.  It supports sending CoreMidi messages over a Wi-Fi network using the UDP protocol for sending and receiving MIDI messages.  The application allows to remote control and receive feedback from software and hardware that implement the MIDI protocols such as Apple Logic Pro/Express, Ableton Live, Max for Live, Cubase, Pro Tools, FL Loops and many others.  The interface provides a number of different touch controls to send and receive messages:  Faders / Rotary controls / Encoder controls / Push buttons / Toggle buttons / XY pads / LEDs / Labels, etc.

!!!WARNING, by default app not include "Ability to create custom layouts". This feature available only through built-purchase or you can buy a "Midi Studio Pro" version.

Versie 2.2

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

-fixed issue with running program in portrait mode.
-added ability to disable button sounds.

Record button won’t work? With the inter-app feature working.

Does anybody know why, when one adds an inter-app vst, the program won’t record when hitting the ‘record button’? It just plays a sound when hitting the record button, play button, etc.

Useless

No sound. Useless. Regret the purchase.

Super App!

I use it on an iPad (1) with an Alesis io Dock, and on my iPod touch (3g) with an irig midi. Lovelly midi controller, I use it to control Ableton Live and various hardware grooveboxes (Roland mc307, Yamaha rs7000, etc). Email reply within day... I would like to see sommething expressive like a xy pad to input notes à la korg kaossilator. Thanks for this app ;)
