Using Mokaro, a planter obtains information to improve decision on new plantation, irrigation and other field activities. Farmers also receives weather information, current agricultural news and alerts that may be useful for agricultural production and management. Additionally, the planned calendar of activities and events informs planters on activities of stakeholders where they may be invited to participate. This tool also allows a planter to locate and communicate directly to input suppliers and service providers as and when required. Input suppliers, service providers and operators may register themselves for easy access by farmers.

Farmers can:

· Plan their new plantation based on information on current planted area

· Decide irrigation and spraying of crops

· Obtain current agricultural news and latest events

· Receive alerts and warnings

· Lookup and access registered input suppliers and service providers
