MonthlyCal is a beautiful and colorful monthly calendar widget for OS X Yosemite. MonthlyCal supports gregorian's calendar and it is almost localized in every language!
With the new version you can click on a day to show the list of related events. Click on an event to show it in OS X Calendar app!

AUTO SETUP
MonthlyCal gets settings automatically from your OS (Language, first weekday, ecc...)

INSTRUCTIONS
- ENABLE WIDGET: Open Notification Center => Click Edit Button => Add MonthlyCal.
- THEME COLOR: Open main app => Open Preferences => Choose your color.
- EVENTS INDICATOR: Open main app => Open Preferences => Check "Show events indicator" => Allow MonthlyCal to access to your calendars.
If "Show events indicator" is checked but you doesn't see any indicator (A little dot on days with one or more events) open "OS X System Preferences" => Click "Security and Privacy" => Choose "Privacy" tab => Click "Calendar" => Flag "MonthlyCal".

Good for <= Sierra

Application works perfectly for Sierra and earlier.

Since High Sierra (public beta 1) switching between de months in the notificationbar is no longer possible (it simply crashes). When opening the standalone application, switching between de months is extremely slow, often showing a spinner and sometimes just freezing completely.

Of course, the application is not suitable for High Sierra yet, but something to look at.

Nice customisable widget but ugly pink icon

Nice simple way to get a calendar month overview.

Collapsed by default is nice and clean. Click on days to open or close them.

I like to disable the event dots as well to make it even more clear.

It’s nice to customise the app colors. A shame you can’t change the color of the ugly pink icon though. Doesn’t match the rest of the notification center and doesn’t match the selected theme color.

Very clean calendar widget!

Nice light calendar widget with emphasis (color) at the right place. Proposal to further improve: add (configurable) weeknumbers.
