Many of us live alone and enjoy an active and independent lifestyle. Every now and then we wonder who would know if something were to happen to us unexpectedly, and how we can get help in those circumstances. The MoxiamFamily suite of services is designed to do exactly that. And it allows you to scale up and down depending on your future needs and wishes.
The MoxiamFamily suite of services solution starts with a free version, Moxiam, that allows you as senior to invite one informal carer. Within the app you can then upgrade to the paid Moxiam+ version in which up to five informal carers can be invited.
The Moxiam/Moxiam+ app transforms your smartphone into your personal companion for an active and independent lifestyle without the need for hardware installations at your home. It is based on the functions already present in your phone. There is nothing you need to do other than to just live your usual daily life.
The Moxiam/Moxiam+ app provides you with 4 features (wake up, location, activity, alert) supporting your active and independent senior lifestyle while allowing your informal carer(s) to provide timely support if and when needed.

- The MoxiamFamily suite of services currently consisting of MoxiamHome (sensor-based; paid version) is now extended with the fully digital Moxiam (free version) and Moxiam+ (paid version) features.
- This updated version of the app grants seniors and their informal carers access to the features they chose to subscribe to. The app provides the key user (the senior) with the capability to invite one (Moxiam) or several (Moxiam+) friends and family members as informal carers (monitoring insights; receiving notifications).
- In contrast to the existing MoxiamHome feature, the new Moxiam/Moxiam+ feature does not require any additional hardware to be procured nor installed in the senior’s home; merely a smartphone is required for creating and using a Moxiam/Moxiam+ account.
- The sign in process has transitioned to mobile phone numbers (smart phone) using a two-step OTP authentication.
