Description
MyChart puts your health information in the palm of your hand and helps you conveniently manage care for yourself and your family members. With MyChart you can:
• Communicate with your care team.
• Review test results, medication, immunisation history, and other health information.
• Connect your account to Apple Health to pull health-related data from your personal devices right into MyChart.
• View your After Visit Summary® for past visits and hospital stays, along with any clinical notes your clinician has recorded and shared with you.
• Book and manage appointments, including in-person visits and video visits.
• Get price estimates for the cost of care.
• View and pay your medical bills.
• Securely share your medical record from anywhere with anyone who has Internet access.
• Connect your accounts from other healthcare organisations so you can see all your health information in one place, even if you've been seen at multiple healthcare organizations.
• Receive push notifications when new information is available in MyChart. You can check whether push notifications are enabled under the Account Settings within the app.
Select features are also available on Apple Watch.
Note that what you can see and do within the MyChart app depends on which features your healthcare organisation has enabled and whether they’re using the latest version of Epic software. If you have questions about what’s available, contact your healthcare organisation.
To access MyChart, you must create an account with your healthcare organisation. To sign up for an account, download the app and search for your healthcare organisation or go to your healthcare organisation’s MyChart website. After you’ve signed up, turn on Face ID, Touch ID, or a four-digit passcode to quickly log in without needing to use your MyChart username and password each time. Then, make sure you have push notifications enabled to receive updates on your device when new information is available in MyChart.

What’s New
Version 10.8.5
You can now add insurance ID cards to Apple Wallet and your COVID-19 passes update on their own. These features might become available to you after your healthcare organisation starts using the latest version of Epic.
First-time app setup and organisation management have had a modern refresh. Shortcut management and visibility have been improved. These features are available immediately to all users who upgrade the app.

Waarom weer een vernieuwing?
Was net gewend aan Mycart en bevalt uitstekend.
Ben 79 jaar . Absoluut geen digibeet
maar elke keer die veranderingen is lastig. Ik ga wel weer naar de Bali !

Gebruik van app veranderd juridische status van je interactie met het ziekenhuis
Ik kreeg deze app aangeraden van het OLVG te Amsterdam, want dat is handig. Nadat ik hem had gedownload kreeg ik een uitgebreide licentie voor mijn neus, in het Engels, die je niet kunt bewaren of mailen.
Ik heb hem maar eens gelezen...
Kort samengevat komt het er op neer dat je een contract aangaat met Epic Software te Wisconsin, naar Amerikaans recht. Meestal geen probleem, alleen hier gaat het over medische gegevens. En als patiënt zou ik toch willen dat mijn “contract” het OLVG is, niet met een Amerikaanse softwareleverancier.
Maar eens een mailtje naar de juridische afdeling van het OLVG gestuurd. Ik kreeg het volgende antwoord:
“ De iOS app My Chart is een app van de firma Epic. Indien u de app zou downloaden gaat u een relatie aan met Epic en niet met OLVG. U heeft dan ook gelijk dat u daarmee een relatie aangaat met het softwarebedrijf en niet met OLVG en dat daaraan ook de licentievoorwaarden van Epic zijn verbonden.
U kunt als u dit niet wilt, via de website van OLVG MijnOLVG gebruiken. MijnOLVG bevat meer mogelijkheden en gegevens dan de app van Epic. U kunt dan alleen via de website de gegevens raadplegen en mist wel het gebruiksgemak van een app.”
Ik ga deze app zeker niet gebruiken, en ik moet zeggen dat ik het onbegrijpelijk vind dat het ziekenhuis dit zelf blijkbaar geen probleem vindt. Het wachten is op de eerste data privacy rechtszaak, lijkt me.
Kan geen brieven printen
Ik probeer een brief te printen via mijn Apple iPad maar zie geen enkele mogelijkheid. Alleen print screen werkt maar dan kan het alleen in gedeeltes. Verder werkt de app goed
