Nice app

It is a very good app. The good thing is that you can use it for years. It doesn’t go away. You can make the conclusions yourself.

Great app with room for improvement

First of all, thanks for creating this handy app! A lot of things have been well thought of!

We have some suggestions for improvement:

Analysis is done on the same time windows for all bowels and symptoms. This makes them useless for our use case onfortunately. The time windows should be adjustable per symptom per user. Eg skin rash happens within minutes to hours; bowel varies per person and in our case a window from 12 to 48 hours would be more appropriate.
Multiple entries for ‘is a kind of’. That way you can label a tomato as a kind of vegetable, and as a nightshade, and as a high histamine food. This will help identify intolerances to food groups.
If copying an item from past to present, please jump to the present (copied to date) after finishing the copying process, instead of jumping back to the past (copied from date). This saves tons of clicks and lots of confusion.
Offer search within diary, so if you have a suspicion, you can easily find it and see what syptoms there were (or not), what other foods it was combined with etc. Now, this is only possible by creating a pfd and searching that.
On export to pdf: also offer option to save to documents, save to ibooks or something alike. Now it is only possible to mail it, and saving it is an extra hassle with unnessecary extra steps.
Option to have ingredients sorted by sequence of entry (time descending), so we can enter them like ingredients on packages: largest ingredient first, smallest last. This is because entering exact measurements is too much work most of the time, but with a sequence of largest first we can see if it was a main ingredient or a minor. This is important for intolerances that have a threshold, where consuming a little bit is no problem, but large amounts do cause havoc.
