Constantly improving
Edit: I can never rate this high enough. It is a one-time purchase instead of subscription based, and it is constantly updated and improved. It is worth every penny. When I bought it 2 years ago it was already a brilliant app, but it has improved so much since then it is incredible.
I've been using this app since I got my iPad on September 2022 to take notes for University.it was it perfect at the time and it still isn't, but ills definitely close to it. This app's biggest virtue is that it's constantly in development. The team is super receptive to feedback, and 1 don't even usually leave app reviews but I thought this one deserve the praise. Every time I've had the thought "they should fix that" or "they can improve this" they've done so In the following updates. This app is definitely worth the money.

Great but not perfect yet
I really love this app! The handwriting recognition is absolutely impressive and the app works very smoothly. Much better than anything else I’ve seen so far.
However, it would be great to have the option to copy-paste text from other files into the Nebo document. When making notes when reading a pdf, for example, it really is an advantage being able to insert some quotes etc.
It also be would be good to have the ability to switch to the pencil without recognition, in order to draw arrows between texts, circle words etc etc, all the stuff an avid note taker does on paper. So instead of inserting a drawing into a separate box, it might also be possible to draw over the text/in the entire document.
Not much user friendly
Lacks lot of features that is available in the notes app. Copy pasting content is such a hassle in mac & ipad both.
