Continued use of Location Services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Nextdoor doesn't run Location Services in the background unless you give us permission by turning on optional features that require it.

Makkelijke app, je leert je buren beter kennen en het verhoogt de saamhorigheid in de buurt. Ook is deze app makkelijk als je een dienst nodig hebt of iets wil lenen.

Misbruikgevoelig
Bij ons in de buurt worden onder namen van buurtbewoners brieven verstuurd om maar lid te worden. De personen versturen die brieven helemaal niet. Erg vaag en wekt vooral veel wantrouwen. Ik heb de app verwijderd en mijn account gedeactiveerd al zou ik graag zien dat al mijn gegevens daar verwijderd worden. Blijkbaar is de app te gevoelig voor misbruik en daar blijf ik graag ver uit de buurt van.

Dank voor je bericht. Buren hebben via Nextdoor de mogelijkheid om andere buren uit te nodigen voor de app. Op die manier krijg je samen meer gedaan in de buurt. Denk hierbij aan een uitnodiging per e-mail, sms, etc. Daarnaast bieden we leden van Nextdoor de mogelijkheid om per brief andere buren uit te nodigen voor de app.
Ervaring leert dat het versturen van een uitnodigingsbrief een makkelijke en laagdrempelige manier is om met elkaar in contact te komen. Als een gebruiker ervoor kiest om een brief te sturen, dan zorgen wij ervoor dat deze wordt gedrukt en verzonden. Het is niet zo, dat wij een uitnodiging versturen namens een gebruiker als hij/zij daar niet expliciet opdracht voor heeft gegeven.
