- If NotateMe Now doesn’t recognize your style immediately, keep at it, as it will adjust. Leave clear space between symbols and make markings clearer with further strokes if any transcription errors occur. If you experience problems, tap 'Help Improve NotateMe' from the Export menu and we will analyze your handwriting to help us improve NotateMe further.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

Replaced Dropbox Sync with improved Import and Export functionality.
- Import from Photos (for PhotoScore) and NotateMe and MusicXML files from iCloud and other apps & cloud services.

Voice allocation improvements, particularly for 3 and 4 voices.

Crash, crash

The app keeps crashing with every attempt to Photoscore.

The app says it's free and there is no mention of in app purchases on the App Store. But as soon as you try to add a note, it wants you to buy the full version for $40. That looks pretty misleading to me.

Prima voor onderweg

Ideeën noteren kan er prima mee, al moet je wel het geduld hebben om met het programma te leren werken: het herkent niet meteen iedere manier van noteren.

Er is een aparte 'photoscore' functie te koop (ruim €25,-) Ik zeg: niet doen. Het werkt alleen goed met perfecte scores. Slecht leesbaar materiaal dat je wilt omzetten, doe je beter en veel sneller met de hand en van handgeschreven partijen die een beetje slordig of vaker gekopieerd, zijn maakt ie op zijn best lachwekkend en totaal onbruikbaar materiaal.

Het lezen en omzetten naar midi/ notenschrift is technisch gecompliceerd, vandaar waarschijnlijk de hoge prijs. Ik hoop op updates, want in potentie is dit natuurlijk een geweldige app voor muzikanten.
