NutriBullet Balance Benelux 4+

Perhaps the ugliest app I’ve installed at this moment. Feels like running a DOS app on Windows 11. The app is not maintained, doesn’t run full screen and navigating the GUI is all but logical. There might be some functionalities in this app but I can’t find them. Also, I buy an expensive blender with a built in scale, why can’t I just see the scale?!

This app is an embarrassment for the brand, it is not in sync with the product design and brand-image.

Just bought a new Nutribullet. I thought take the balance version with the app, it looks very handy and nice. Now I see the app hasn’t been updated for more than 2 years now. What a waste of money.

I cannot give this app a good review because the developer barely maintains it. It can no longer be forgiven that it is only fullscreen on iPhone 6-SE screens.

Other than that everything that is promised works, but it does so awkwardly, the user experience is clunky at best. Many features and flows could be clearer, other simple things are missing. For instance, I bought a scale in my blender, why isn’t there a simple button for this? It does have space for a shopping list, which is quite far removed from the value proposition. It seems the app knows this somehow, because it is filled with video tutorials for things that should be clear intuitively.

In all it feels like a nice first iteration of an app, with a bit of bloat, but it needed a few more development iterations that it never got. Currently it feels like the developer only maintains it to keep it functioning.
