Description
Recognize nature in one click! Take a photo in Europe or the Dutch Caribbean and find out which species it is. Collect all your wildlife observations in the app. You'll be rewarded with tips to find new species, earn badges, and be invited to join challenges. Create groups with colleagues, family or friends, to share your stunning nature observations. Your observations, and those of others, contribute to biological research and knowledge about nature. Every observation counts!
ObsIdentify only recognizes wild animals, plants and mushrooms in Europe and the Dutch Caribbean. Please do not use the app for selfies, people, pets, house or garden plants.
The image recognition in ObsIdentify is made possible by millions of observations from thousands of users of Waarneming.nl, Waarnemingen.be and Observation.org. ObsIdentify is a product of the Observation International Foundation, in collaboration with Naturalis Biodiversity Center (The Netherlands) and Natuurpunt (Belgium).

Fijne app
Zeer goede app voor insecten , daardoor al veel nieuwe soorten ontdekt , planten en paddestoelen werkt de beeldherkenning vaak niet goed genoeg
Goed, kan beter
Mooie app en werkt ook makkelijk. Ziet er goed uit na de nieuwe update. Ik vind het alleen jammer dat er een locatie nodig is om een waarneming op te slaan. Het zou mooi zijn als er een functie komt waarbij je zelf de locatie kunt toevoegen of dat de verplichte locatie komt te vervallen. Ik heb momenteel een oudere camera waarbij dus geen locaties komen te staan. Erg jammer want ik had graag mijn waarnemingen opgeslagen.
Leuk voor de hele familie
Bezorgt ontzettend veel plezier en maakt wandeltochten weer een stuk leuker! Je probeert allemaal de mooiste waarnemingen te doen en gaat daardoor veel bewuster de natuur bekijken.
Tip: zou fijn zijn als je op een badge klikt ook meteen ziet welke waarnemingen daar bij behoren. Ook zouden de filter opties voor je eigen waarnemingen uitgebreid kunnen worden. Bijvoorbeeld op categorie, locatie (land) of zeldzaamheid (algemeen/vrij algemeen/zeldzaam etc)
Een legenda over de status van een soort zou ook mooie toevoeging zijn.
