Track and log your flights while improving them thanks to the various instruments (Vario, wind,...) providing useful information during the flight. Also on Apple Watch.

## INSTRUMENTS FOR FLYING ##
• Vario (very powerful, using the combination of multiple sensors a.k.a sensor fusion) with sound (bips according to the vertical speed). Customizable.
• Ground speed
• Altitude
• Wind speed estimation
• Wind direction estimation
• Live map display of your location
• Fly with friends: view your friends in flight nearby on the navigation map
• Glide ratio

• Heading
• TAKE-OFF DETECTION: focus on your preparation, the recording will start automatically
• LANDING DETECTION: on landing, the recording will stop automatically. You'll thus never forget to save.

## WAYPOINTS ##
• Set and edit waypoints to plan your routes with precision. This feature allows you to mark key locations, track progress, and navigate efficiently.

## AIRSPACES ##
• When in flight, Wingman will show you the nearby airspaces, and alert you when you are close or in an airspace

## LIVE TRACKING / SAFETY ##
• Send a Wingman LIVE link to your friends and family so they can follow your progress, live. They'll be informed of when and where you landed.

MAJOR UPDATE:
• Wingman LIVE tracking + Apple Watch: You can now share your live location when you use your Apple Watch to record a flight. Friends on the Wingman app, as well as anyone you send a web link to, will be able to view your live location.
• Friends in flight: the map showing your friends in flight has been completely recreated from scratch, making it much better than before.
• Waypoints: the waypoints functionality has been improved, allowing for easier navigation.
• Airspaces: the airspaces functionality has been improved and optimized.
• Wingman + iOS 18: Wingman has been updated to support the new tinted and dark modes of iOS 18. The app icon and widgets look great in these modes.

Have been using Wingman for a year now, it works well and is fun to replay.

Works! And work in progress.

Automatic launch- and landing detection.

Good way to track your flights and create a logbook.

Vario works, sometimes with a little delay. And only when you keep the app running without turning your screen off.

Feedback is taken seriously.
