Let us help you locate and discover the national parks, national historic sites, national urban parks, national marine conservation areas, and historic canals and waterways across Canada. 450 000 km2 of stories at your fingertips!

- Over 200 locations: Plan your next visit and take the app with you for on-the-go access to the most requested information.

- Mobile guided tours: Exclusive access to self-guided tours on your mobile device. Explore at your own pace with interactive experiences featuring photos, videos, quizzes, and games. Explore on foot, by car, on a bicycle, or hike a trail. Go behind the scenes and discover the untold stories of your favourite locations.

- GPS features: See your location on maps, get customized lists, and use automatic GPS activated self-guided tours. Link to your favourite maps app to get turn-by-turn directions to your destinations.

- Accessibility: Support for screen readers and all content is available in French and English. More languages available for select tours.

- Relevant website links: Looking to book a campsite or buy a Discovery Pass? Find the information you need with quick links to relevant pages on the Parks Canada website.

- Favourites: Save your destinations, tours, or any page on the app to your profile page. No login required.

- Available offline: Download the app in advance and use it when you’re offline. Download guided tours and use them from anywhere - including places with no cell service.

Note that by using GPS features, you can see your location on maps, get customized lists, and use GPS triggered self-guided tours. Continued use of GPS in the background can significantly decrease battery life.

We've added a profile section and favourites feature. Save your favourite locations, tours, or weather forecast for easy access on the go.

- Small bug fixes and improved image loading when offline.

- The Parks Canada app is updated regularly with new content, seasonal updates, and new mobile guided tours.

Doesn’t work

I installed the app as we’re planning to go on holiday to Canada this year and unfortunately the app doesn’t do anything. When I open the app all I see is a big logo CANADA with the flag and that’s all.
Really bad, because I thought I’ll be able to check my booked camping spots in there, but so to see, it’s useless.
