Good app, but startup is slow.
This is an absolutely fabulous calculator app. I use it in RPN mode and I love it. My calculator used to be an HP 48G, but I switched to this for the quick stuff, as I was using my pc for the complexer things anyway.
There is one gripe I have, and that is the slow startup since some months now (don't know which version it started). I mean, I have this app for the quick stuff, but when it takes 20 seconds to start up, it's not quick anymore, is it?
Opening the app when it was recently used is quick though, but it's still annoying.

It definitely shouldn't take 20 seconds on any device, something is wrong. Does it still take that long after a restart of the device? Let me know at pcalc@dragthing.com if you are still having problems.
Very nice calculator with lots of options
PCalc (Lite) is a very nice calculator with lots of options, more than I will ever need probably. If you need more than what the free version offers you can customize via in-app purchases, so you can get anything you want to pay for. Very nice!
Note: I previously reported that PCalc continuously ran in the background. The developer responded that PCalc should not be doing anything in the background because it doesn’t use any background API’s. I rebooted my iPad and I have not noticed any background activity from PCalc since. I guess it must have been a glitch in Apple’s Battery widget. My apologies to the developer for any confusion my previous review may have caused.

PCalc does not use any background APIs, so it should not be doing anything unless the app is running in the foreground. Please email us at support@pcalc.com and we can try in figure out what is going on.
Nice calc, just 1! con
Ver nice calc, it can be matched with a non free calc. But there is one thing to improve. There should be one extra row to see what is bin typed. This can actually also be done in the same. Hope to see this improvent soon.
