PDF OCR X Community Edition is a simple drag-and-drop utility that converts your single-page PDFs and images into text documents or searchable PDF files. It uses advanced OCR (optical character recognition) technology to extract the text of the PDF even if that text is contained in an image. This is particularly useful for dealing with PDFs that were created via a Scan-to-PDF function in a scanner or photo copier.
The Community Edition supports single-page PDFs and Images. For multi-page PDFs and batch conversion features, you can upgrade to the Enterprise Edition.
Includes support for over 60 languages including English, German, Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, and many others.

Can only use 1 page, to convert more you have to pay.
Very bad!
Cannot read jpg files with printed text
Try to convert a printed text in JPG to a txt filed, but failed. Was somehow able to read just one word out of many. Is not usable.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. In some cases there may be poor output due to factors like image quality, or font. But in most of these cases you can get good results by adjusting a setting or two. If you have a document that don’t convert please share it with me at info@weblite.ca so that I can figure out why.
