Plant Daddy — Water Reminders 4+

Fantastic to track your plants (and other chores)

I tried so many reminder and calendar apps, but they keep counting from the original set date. Not from when you actually watered them, which this app that fantastically!

Let’s say I have a plant that I water every 4 days. If I am 2 days late with watering that plant, I want to get a notification in 4 days again and not after 2 days again, as that will drown my plant. This app reset the count down on the day you perform the task, perfect! And therefore I also use it for other household chores that come back regularly.

The app works really well, gives plenty of options such as notes, pictures, date that the plant was bought, scientific name etc.

If I may request, I only miss a feature to keep track of fertilizing and trimming my plants. Let’s say I want to water a plant 1x/week, fertilize it 1x/month, and trim it always in March. I solve this by adding extra “plants” for the fertilizing task and use my calendar app for trimming, but all in one app would be even better.

And to be honest, I never use the picture option, as it makes the list too bulky and I lose the overview. A smaller picture in the list, or only showing it when opening the plants options would help me.

Great app! Does what you need.

But I would like to suggest that in the tab “plants” you could have another viewing option: little tiles. At the moment each plant is shown in a big picture with a scroll bar. But if you have many plants it’s annoying to have to scroll and I would like it to have a good overview of my plant family.

Hey there! Plant Daddy 3.0 now has a lovely grid view so you can see lots more of your plants at once. I hope you like it!
