Description
This app can be used with the Plugwise Smile P1 (and a smart meter with a P1 port) and/or the Plugwise Stretch 2.0. With the Smile P1, on your smartphone, tablet or PC it’s easy to access current information about your total consumption, both electricity and gas. With the Stretch 2.0 you have an insight into the energy consumption per device or appliance, and with a click on the button on your smartphone, tablet or PC you can switch devices/appliances on or off. With the Plugwise subscription you also have access to your energy consumption even when you are not at home. Based on your current consumption, a forecast of your yearly bill is shown, so that you know what’s involved and can take steps in good time to prevent high energy charges. This app also shows the production and net yield of your solar panels or micro-cogeneration unit if a Plugwise Circle or Stealth has been connected to them.

Plugwise heeft een truc bedacht om mensen met een oude smile en stretch in de kou te laten staan,
Zorgen dat je wordt overgenomen door een ander bedrijf en iedereen blijft achter met apparatuur wat niet meer wordt ondersteund.
Mensen laat je niet misleiden!
Alternatief p1 homewizard voor € 29,95 ipv pulgwise voor 100 euro!!
Firma failliet, geen historie meer, geen support, maar ik heb een goed alternatief
Plugwise is failliet gegaan en heeft daarna een doorstart gemaakt. Mijn eind 2017 aangeschafte Smile P1 laat vanaf 1 jan 2021 geen historie (grafieken) meer zien omdat dit niet meer door de nieuwe eigenaar wordt ondersteund. Er is me een coulanceregeling aangeboden: ik krijg een versie 3 à €75 en dan moet ik de oude inleveren. Dat vind ik te duur.
Ik ben dus een ontevreden klant en heb een alternatief gevonden in de Homewizard P1 Wi-Fi. Een perfect werkend en simpel te installeren alternatief dat véél goedkoper is (nl €29,95). Bij mijn slimme meter is op de P1-ingang geen voeding nodig.

In 2017 schreef ik:
Al jaren stuur ik met de Plugwise app de Smile, Stretch, Circles en Stealths naar tevredenheid aan. Apparatuur wordt naar wens in- en uitgeschakeld, sluipverbruik wordt ontdekt, de input van de zonnepanelen gevolgd en ik hou het verbruik van de warmtepomp er mee in de gaten. Gewoon prima. Vijf sterren.
In mei 2019 moet ik bekennen dat min enthousiasme over is. Plugwise stopt domweg niet meer energie in de genoemde producten. De aandacht gaat blijkbaar uit naar de Anna, Lisa en Adam etc. Software wordt niet meer ge-update, de helpdesk mist deskundigheid en is laks, de compatibiliteit met andere platformen ontbreekt. Kortom een product aan het eind van zijn life-cycle. Erg jammer. 1 ster.
