Please hire some programmers with common sense

QPhoto is a source of frustration… it seems that the only approach to get it to work is “set and pray”… (repeat). Settings such as “allow all users” results in - for all users - “access denied”. Folders stacked with photo’s can be browsed in QFile, but QPhoto shows an empty directory, no files. Allowing world-access, read and write to everything on the NAS still does not result in anything showing up in QPhoto… the Chinese, Russians. Iranians, and the NSA most likely all have my photo’s by now, but I cannot make them visible in my own home.

Please hire some programmers that know how to code something that is actually useful.

Useless

All qnap apps, with exception of qfile and qmanager, are crap. Badly designed, useless, you need 3 different apps for looking at video or pics. Plus, the codec stuff from qnap is a chaos. Not able to stream through qnap apps half of the content my nas

Only new customers supported.

If you happen to have an old device (mine is 4 years old) and you cannot upgrade to qts 4.3.0 forget the mobile apps. They refuse to talk even though the web site gives the impression they will work.

Sadly, after configuration it connects and then says must update qnap.
